A0 Printed Posters for The Miller in Borough, SE1

One of our regular customers is The Miller, a pub and entertainment venue situated in Borough, SE1. Southside Print’s London Bridge branch prints A0 size posters for The Miller and these are printed on 190gsm Photo Satin paper and printed in full colour using our large format printing press. The Miller supplies their own design and artwork. A few examples can be seen in this post (click for a larger view).

The Miller pub is located in Snowfields Road in London’s SE1 region and incorporates a ground floor bar with seating and pool table, an upstairs entertainment venue, a basement rehearsal studio, an art gallery/function room, a roof terrace, two private rooms which can be hired for parties and private events plus outdoor tables and seating which are popular in the warmer months.

Entertainment Venue

Upstairs at The Miller is an entertainment space which includes a stage, bar and storage area as well as professional lighting, DJ equipment, monitor system, front of house speakers, PA system, mics and a drum kit (minus cymbals). The venue features regular comedy nights, sketches, storytelling, gigs, cabaret and more (check out the listings).

Rehearsal Space

In the basement of The Miller, there is a well-equipped music rehearsal space that includes a drum kit (minus breakables), various amps, mics and PA system. The studio space is currently available for just £50 for the entire evening (5.30pm until last orders).

During the daytime, the rehearsal space is available for theatre or comedy performance rehearsals. The space is suitable for up to 30 people and costs just £60 for the day (between 10am and 5pm weekdays).

Function Gallery

The Function Room is a quirky space, full of artwork, which can be reserved for parties and social events for up to 60 people, free of charge.

Food and drink

The Miller serves a great range of real ciders and perry, locally produced craft beers as well as an affordable food menu for lunch or dinner. Recently stocked craft beers even include ‘Lemon Meringue beer’ and ‘Mint Choc Stout’ so, as they say on Twitter, The Miller is always doing something really different!

Forthcoming Event

On 25th February, The Miller will host “Electrotheque” which is a free evening with “the best from the current electronica scene” and a DJ set from KCL DJ Society. Click the Electrotheque poster or contact The Miller for more details.
