London Artists Unite to Support Ukrainian Families

Earlier in March, Southside Print was approached by a professional musician named Emilija. This amazing individual has organised a large-scale concert that will take place on 27th March, in London Nw1. It’s a fundraiser for Ukrainian children and families fleeing the war and devastation in Ukraine. Southside Print is happy to support the endeavour and has supplied the printing, for full colour A3 posters and A5 leaflets, to help publicise the event. The poster can be viewed or downloaded here (Acrobat PDF format).

Concert for Ukraine – Make Music Not War

The concert will take place on Sunday 27th March at St Pancras Old Church in Pancras Road, London NW1 1UL. It starts at 5 p.m. and runs until approximately 7 p.m. (Doors open at 4 p.m. and the bar opens at 4:30 p.m.). There is a minimum donation of £10 per person for entry.

Singers and musicians will come together for an unforgettable evening of music, in solidarity with those displaced from their homes and living in fear following the Russian invasion of their country.

Supporting Vulnerable Children & Families from Ukraine

All money raised through the concert will go towards the work of Save the Children in Ukraine. This support is vital to Ukrainian children and families at this time, when their country is being torn apart. It’s an excellent cause and support is both crucial and urgent right now.

Funds raised will help the organisation:

  • Distribute much needed blankets, clothing and winter supplies that are essential as temperatures plummet to sub-zero;
  • Supply money and vouchers directly to those families who are desperate for food, medical supplies and somewhere to sleep;
  • Provide safe education services while children are displaced;
  • Offer both psychological and mental health support to those who need it;
  • Supply emergency shelter, water, sanitation, health, nutrition and hygiene services to Ukrainian refugees.

“Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen the horrors children have faced. But we’ve also seen the UK come together and achieve an extraordinary amount. Let’s keep it going – and change the lives of children everywhere.” (Save the Children — Emergency Fund for Ukraine)
