Fast turnaround, short-run digital printing for BOST
Southside Print London Bridge has recently printed leaflets and flyers for Bankside Open Spaces Trust (‘BOST’), an award-winning charity with an HQ just around the corner in Redcross Way, SE1. The printing included A5 and A4 single sided leaflets printed in full colour onto 170gsm silk paper stock. As quantities required were fairly low, this suited Southside Print’s digital presses perfectly and also allowed for a very fast turnaround and very affordable pricing. Artwork was supplied by the customer and you can see the two printed documents in the image above.
“A thriving network of community managed green places”
About Bankside Open Spaces Trust
BOST was set up to improve parks, gardens and open spaces in and around the Bankside area. As they say in their mission statement, BOST is “bringing people in SE1 together to create and enjoy meaningful green and outdoor spaces” and such spaces under their influence are now many and varied, including Waterloo Millennium Green, the Garden at Tate Modern, the Marlborough Sports Garden, Crossbones Garden, Red Cross Garden and a whole host of other spaces all located in the SE1 region of London. As they say on their website, BOST is a ‘thriving network of community managed green places” and these include ‘Edible Bankside’ which is a sustainable food-growing initiative taking place in just under 30 or so community gardens which are mostly to be found on social housing land within SE1. This year these gardens accounted for 5,000 square metres of food growing space.
The Flower & Vegetable Show 2015
This is an annual event, organised by BOST and hosted in Red Cross Garden, which takes place this year on Friday 18 September from 3pm to 6pm. This year it celebrates 10 years since the regeneration of Red Cross Garden in Redcross Way SE1. Entry is free and the event is open to everyone. Read more
